My Rating: 4.5/5 Stars!

My Description:

Libraries already feel like a gateway to different worlds but the Library Jumpers series takes that to a whole new level!

Assassin of Truths is the final book in the Library Jumpers series. After the devastating battle with the evil wizard Conemar in Guardian of Secrets, Gia is even more determined to do what it takes to release the Tetrad and help the seventh heir, Roysten to destroy it and get the Mystik world back in order. But the line between good and evil starts to get blurred, enemies become friends, friends become enemies and it’s starting to get harder and harder to determine who can be trusted. Gia travels through gorgeous library after library and back and forth between the havens on her quest, seeing the toll conemar’s return has caused. And the weight of being their only hope starts to take its toll as Gia has to decide how much she is willing to sacrifice to fulfill her destiny.

Goodreads Description:

The gateways linking the great libraries of the world don’t require a library card, but they do harbor incredible dangers.

And it’s not your normal bump-in-the- night kind. The threats Gia Kearns faces are the kind with sharp teeth and knifelike claws. The kind that include an evil wizard hell-bent on taking her down.

Gia can end his devious plan, but only if she recovers seven keys hidden throughout the world’s most beautiful libraries. And then figures out exactly what to do with them.

The last thing she needs is a distraction in the form of falling in love. But when an impossible evil is unleashed, love might be the only thing left to help Gia save the world.

Like it? Love it? Hate it?

I loved it! The book was action packed and the perfect ending to the Library Jumpers series. What I loved the most about this book in particular is that there was a lot of adventure and traveling between the Haven’s You got to really see the different Havens and covens and the different creatures of the Mystik World. I can honestly imagine this series making a good set of movies, there is enough adventure, battles and mystery to make a very good book to film adaption. The characters are going to war and I like that remains the main focus. There are no side plots or irrelevant additions to distract from the focus. Drake is able to perfectly include Gia’s budding romance without distracting from the action.  I am sad to have to say goodbye to these characters and this series. This book almost made me cry a few times.

Critiques? Disappointments?

Arik’s characters sucks in this book. If you were Team Arik in the first two books, I’ve got bad news for you. But this isn’t a disappointment in the writing or the book at all. It served a purpose, Just made me sad.  (This isn’t much a spoiler. I don’t think.)

Side note: I want a Bastien of my own. *Swoon*

Conclusion:

I couldn’t have asked for a better conclusion to the Library Jumpers series. Action and Adventure from start to finish. There is no slow start, you get jumped right in!

Any chance of a Spin-off?

Should you read it?

Honestly, This book should be on everyone’s list. It makes me wish I was a part of this world. I wish I could say more but I’d like to keep this spoiler free. But this series is a great adventure to go on. Pick up the first book in this series, Thief of Lies, as soon as you get the chance!*

*I received this book from Netgalley for the purpose of review but was already a fan of the series. All of my reviews are my own. My channel is for the readers, not the writers. They only receive my praise if it is earned and I would never write a dishonest review. Remember, What does or does not work for me may not affect you in the same way so always decide for yourself what books you spend your time and money on. The only one who has to like it is you and you are not required to conform you views around other’s opinion of a book or author. I know I don’t!

Have you read this series? What did you think? Have you recently finished a series you’ve been reading for a while? Were you pleased with the ending? Let me know in the comments!

Thank You for Reading!
